Pep Guardiola remains one of the best and highest paid coaches in the world. He was in charge of Manchester City for nine years. Before City, he also had very successful spells at Bayern and Barcelona.
But the Spaniard has recently made a rather strange statement.
The 54-year-old does not want to go down in history.
"I don't want to be remembered. I want to be forgotten," Guardiola said on the "TNS Sport" channel on TikTok.
The Spaniard does not like to be in the spotlight and does not consider himself the best coach in the history of football.
"Maybe Sir Alex Ferguson, because he was the best when it came to titles," Guardiola emphasized.
The Scot has won more titles than Guardiola.
Guardiola has won three Champions League trophies as well as numerous titles with three clubs. He has been voted the best coach in the world three times.
