Brazilian side Palmeiras and two-time European champions Porto played out a goalless draw in their opening match of the Club World Cup on Sunday night.
The two famous teams faced off in New York in front of 46 spectators. MetLife Stadium was half full.
Palmeiras had more shots, 17-11, and had the ball 55 percent of the time. These two teams are in Group A. Even the first match of this group, between Al Ahly and Inter Miami, had not yielded goals.
On June 19, Palmeiras plays Al Ahly, while Inter Miami faces Porto.
