Sweden players have been booed by fans, and the resignation of coach Jon Dahl Tomasson is now being demanded.
"I understand the fans, they want results and victories. Football is about emotions," said Dane Tomasson.
Sweden now plays Kosovo on Monday. It will be a crucial match for both teams.
