At the end of last year, Kosovo striker Albion Rrahmani was named the best foreign player in Romania for his brilliance during the 2023/2024 season with Rapid Bucharest.
Another Kosovo striker is shining in the current edition of the Romanian championship. It's Astrit Selman, who is invited from Kosovo from time to time.
The 27-year-old striker is leading Dinamo Bucharest towards the playoffs of the Romanian Super League and consequently into the title race.
On Tuesday night, he scored his eleventh goal with Dinamo's jersey this season.
Selmani scored the only goal in Dinamo Bucharest's victory over Otelul, in the 25th round. He scored from the penalty spot in the 98th minute. It was Dinamo's 11th win in 25 matches. Together with Universitatea Cluj, they have 44 points.

Why did Rrahman's transfer to Dinamo fail?
There are still five laps left until the end of the regular season in Romania.
"I want us to secure the playoffs as soon as possible," Selmani said.
Selmani insists that Dinamo deservedly collected 44 points.
"It's not about luck. We deserve everything we've done. I'm very happy with the situation we're in. We're working hard. 44 points have been won, maybe we need a few more, but we're in a very good situation. We'll enjoy the rest of the championship. Last season we suffered, now we want to make our fans happy."
Selmani joined Dinamo Bucharest in February last year as a free agent, after leaving Israeli team Beer Sheva.

Rrahmani ends the season with a super goal
Selmani also spoke about the match that Dinamo won with difficulty against Oteluli. He emphasized that he had faith until the end that Dinamo would win the match.
"I thought we were going to score, we put pressure and we won a penalty. That was good. I didn't have many chances during the match. I kept the ball, I played left and right trying to find space. I played for the team. It was a difficult match. My job is to help my teammates. We want to play football, but sometimes we have to play differently. It was a different game, very important and we won," Selmani said.
He also spoke about the penalty taken in the 98th minute.
"When I saw the VAR decision I was mentally prepared to shoot into the left corner. Of course there is pressure, but this is football, you always have to be determined in such situations. For us in the end it was a good day," said Selmani.
