Kosovo striker Vedat Muriqi has become the first footballer to miss a penalty and score an own goal in a La Liga match in the last 7 years.
The last time this happened was in May 2018. Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos missed a penalty and scored an own goal in the match against Sevilla.
Muriqi scored an own goal in his team Mallorca's match against Espanyol in the 28th round of La Liga. This happened in the 53rd minute.
And just 10 minutes later he missed the penalty.
But in the end, Muriqi became a hero. He scored the second penalty for him, in extra time, for a 2:1 victory.
