Portuguese Jose Mourinho has been introduced as coach of Fenerbahçe. The presentation ceremony of the Portuguese coach took place on Sunday at the sports complex of the big Turkish club, "Ulker". Mourinho has been warmly received by a large number of Fenerri supporters.
Mourinho expressed his happiness about his new adventure at the Turkish giant.
"I want to thank you for your love, the love I felt from the first moment when my name was mentioned as the new coach of Fenerbahçe. Normally, a coach gains love after a win. In this case, I feel that you love me before we start work.
This also gives me a great responsibility. I promise you that from now on I also belong to your family. This jersey is like my skin and bones. Football is a passion for you and we think that I am in one of the best places where we can feel this passion", said the former coach of several major European teams.
Mourinho has signed a two-year contract, with the option of extending it for another year with the Turkish team.
Mourinho at Fenerbahçe will replace the Turkish Ismail Kartal, who was fired at the end of May due to poor results.
