Belgian Diego Moreira joined Milan on Wednesday evening from Strasbourg. He has signed a contract until 2031.
The 22-year-old talent was transferred to the "red and black" for 65 million euros, including bonuses.
Moreira was also in advanced negotiations with Leipzig, but in the last moments Milan joined, convincing the Belgian talent.
Moreira played for Standard Liege, Benfica and Lyon, until Chelsea sold him to
Strasbourg for 8.5 million euros in 2024. He was on loan at Lyon.
Moreira has played for Belgium's U15s, and then played for Portugal until the U21s, before rejoining Belgium. He has made four appearances for Belgium.
