Monaco part ways with Pogba

Paul Pogba

Monaco have parted ways with Paul Pogba as the former French star continues to struggle with injuries.

Pogba signed a two-year deal with Monaco, aiming to get his career back on track after a doping ban. But the renowned midfielder made few appearances last season for Monaco due to injuries.

Pogba's contract was valid until June 2027.

The 33-year-old has said he is grateful for the opportunity Monaco offered him.

He was one of the most highly regarded midfielders in the world, but a doping conviction severely damaged the Frenchman's career. He was initially banned for four years, but his sentence was later reduced to 18 months.

Pogba is expected to move to the USA.
