Soccer superstar Lionel Messi, who is recovering from muscle fatigue ahead of the World Cup, came on in the 70th minute and scored from the penalty spot in Argentina's 3-0 victory over Iceland.
It was the 911th goal of Messi's career and the 117th goal for Argentina.
Ezequiel Barco opened the scoring in the first half and Thiago Almada scored Argentina's third goal after Messi converted a penalty in their second friendly win before the team's opening World Cup match against Algeria on June 16.
Messi did not play in Argentina's win over Honduras on Saturday.
