A French court has ordered Paris Saint-Germain to pay 61 million euros in compensation to Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe won the case against PSG for unpaid wages and bonuses.
The court announced that PSG had not paid Mbappe three months' wages.
Mbappe sued Paris Saint-Germain after claiming he had not received his salary for the months of April, May and June 2024.
"We are satisfied with the decision. This is what can be expected when wages are not paid," Mbappe's lawyer, Frederique Cassereau, told Reuters on Tuesday.
The French star left Paris last summer as a free agent to transfer to Los Blancos.
26-year-old Mbappe is a Paris legend. He is also the top scorer in PSG's history.
With Paris, he played 308 games and contributed with 256 goals and 110 assists.
Mbappe is spending his second season at Real Madrid.
He is also excelling with the royal club. This season he has 26 goals in 22 matches in all competitions.
