Marseille will appear in the Europa League in the 2026/2027 edition.
The great French club secured qualification for the Europa League after a 3:1 victory over Rennes on Sunday night, in the last match of the 2025/2026 edition.
It was the decisive match for fifth place, which ensures a place in Europe.
With the win, Marseille moved up to fifth place with 59 points, the same as Rennes. But due to the better goal difference, Marseille will play in the Europa League, while Rennes will play in the Conference League qualifiers.
The winning goals for the hosts were scored by Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Amine Gouiri and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while the guest goal was scored by Esteban Lepaul.
