Liverpool have announced plans to erect a memorial sculpture at Anfield to honour Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, the BBC reported on Saturday.
Liverpool players' shirts for the next season will have "Forever 20" written on them, the number worn by the Portuguese footballer.
Portugal and Liverpool striker Jota and Silva, who played for Portuguese second division side Penafiel, died in a car crash on July 3 in the Spanish province of Zamora.
Liverpool have retired the number 20.
The plan for Jota's sculpture is to be built by recycling items that fans left outside Anfield stadium when paying tribute in his honor.
Liverpool are also planning to hold a minute's silence and a mosaic at their Premier League opener against Bournemouth on August 15.
