Golubovic, Balkan hero in victory over Drenica
Balkan's goalkeeper, Adnan Golubović, saved a penalty in the fourth minute of extra time and secured the victory for Suharekë over Drenica.
Balkan won 2:1 on Thursday at the "Bajram Aliu" stadium in Skenderaj, in the 31st round match.
Toni Domgjoni initially scored a super goal in the 36th minute for Balkan from a free kick.
Festim Alitema scored for 2:0 in favor of the Suharekë team in the 54th minute, after an assist from Almir Kryeziu.
The only goal for Drenica was scored by Igball Jashari in the 79th minute. Jashari won a penalty in the 90th minute after being fouled in the area. The penalty was awarded after a VAR review. Ronaldo Chacon took the penalty. However, Chacon's penalty was recognized by Slovenian Golubovic and saved in the 94th minute.
With the victory, Balkan has 55 points, five less than the leading Drita.
Drenica is in seventh place with 38 points, two more than Llapi in eighth, respectively in the playoff zone.
Dukagjini wins the "first final" with Ferizaj
Dukagjini i Klina won the "first final" against Ferizaj on Thursday afternoon.
The Klina team won away against Ferizaj with a score of 2:1, in the match that was part of the 31st round of the Kosovo Super League in football.
Dukagjini won with goals scored by Hekuran Berisha in the 41st minute and Dienit Isufi in the 51st minute.
Betim Haxhimusa scored the consolation goal for Ferizaj in the last minute.
Ferizaj played with one less player on the field from the 78th minute.
Ruben Cornelious was sent off with a red card.
With the victory, Dukagjini has moved even further away from the relegation zone and direct relegation from the elite.
Dukagjini is in sixth place with 41 points.
Ferizaj is second to last with 33 points, three points less than Llapi in eighth place.
The eighth place will appear in the play-off for the elite.
Ferizaj and Dukagjini will also face off in the Kosovo Cup final on May 21 at "Fadil Vokrri".

Betim Haxhimusa scored a goal against Dukagjini and now the score is 2:1 in favor of the Klina team.
