Foda: We won as a group

The head coach of Kosovo in football, Franco Foda, was happy with the victory over Cyprus. He said that the victory was achieved by appearing as a group on the field.

"We have scored victories in the last matches and we can appreciate that we have shown a new face and I hope to continue with this good form. We worked to fight and win the ball. It was important to win the lost ball as quickly as possible. Then after we win the ball, be more efficient and score. We worked on how to keep the ball more. I told them that each one is important and I must give my best when he enters the field", said Foda.

Krasniqi, happy for the second goal, aims for others

The striker of Kosovo, Ermal Krasniqi, is happy with the goal scored against Cyprus. He hopes to help Kosovo with more goals. For Krasniqi, the goal against Cyprus was the second in a row in the jersey of "Dardans". He also scored against Lithuania.

"I said in the last interview that I will not stop with one goal. I hope to continue to score more goals for Kosovo. I have always been ready to give my best for my country. Everything is paying off for me", said Krasniqi.

He scored after the ball returned by the goalkeeper, who received Albion Rrahman's shot. Sahiti on the field was framed in the 67th minute, while he scored the goal in the 71st minute. The chosen ones of the coach Franco Foda also had some good chances to score. But during the 90 minutes they scored only three goals. Cyprus had a goal disallowed.

In November, Kosovo plays the last two games of the fourth edition of the League of Nations. On November 15, he plays the most important match against Romania, and on November 18, he hosts Lithuania in "Fadil Vokrri".

Kosovo has closed the first half of the match against Cyprus in the League of Nations with a minimal lead. The leading goal for Kosovo was scored by the captain, Amir Rrahmani. 

He scored with an accurate shot from close range. Rrahmani received the ball, passed a Cyprus defender and beat the Cyprus goalkeeper with a precise shot.

Kosovo was very demanding from the first minute of the match. In addition to the goal scored by the Napoli defender, Kosovo also had several scoring opportunities. 

In the last minute of the first half, he secured a penalty through Ermal Krasniqi. But after the review by the VAR room, the penalty was canceled as earlier it was assessed that Albion Rrahmani was in an offside position.
