Libya's Football Federation has blamed Nigeria for postponing the match which was valid for the African Cup qualifiers. The match between Libya and Nigeria was supposed to be played on Tuesday. But the representative of Nigeria refused to play the match after having to wait all night at "La Abraq" airport, near the Libyan city of Al Baida on Monday.
Nigeria's footballers had complained on social media that they did not have enough food and water while waiting at the airport.
The Libyan Football Federation has said the incident was not intentional and has sought Nigeria's understanding. Libya added that their players had also faced travel difficulties last week. The first match between Nigeria and Libya took place on Friday. Nigeria won the match 1:0.
