"Legend that never fades" is the title of the book dedicated to the figure who as a football player shook the hearts of entire generations of sports fans from Kosovo, Fadil Vokrri, authored by journalist Bekim Aliu.
The contribution of the legend Vokrri, whether as a football player on the field, or as a leader of the processes that opened the doors of world football to Kosovo, will always be remembered.
The author of the book dedicated to the legend, Bekim Aliu, on the sixth anniversary of his death, describes Fadil Vokrri as the biggest name in Kosovo football.
Vokrri died on June 9, 2018 after a heart attack.

The book published by the publishing house "KOHA" was financed by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
"Fadil's name is very big. The biggest football player in Kosovo. His works have made Vokrri's name great. He first became great as a football player in the golden times of golden Pristina. Under his guidance, under his leadership, or as the legendary captain of Pristina, Fadili and his teammates have made history in the football of Kosovo in the state that no longer exists", said Aliu on Sunday for TIME.
He also shows the reasons why Vokrri has been a big name. It has shown the impact it had on the admission of the Football Federation of Kosovo to UEFA and FIFA.
"These two big steps of Fadili in international recognition have made Fadili increase his greatness", Aliu emphasized.
Journalist Aliu has interviewed many personalities who were close to or knew Fadil Vokrri. In the book, he also described various events related to Vokrri's career. It has described the period when Vokrri joined Pristina.
In the book, the author Bekim Aliu has shown the reason why Vokrri moved from Llapi to Prishtina.
"Kosova in the 80s needed to have a big club. Even then Pristina was a big club, but Pristina was required to be part of the football elite of Yugoslavia. "Professor Nazmi Mustafa managed to convince Vokrri to join Pristina, and then in his job as the club manager was to get other players from different clubs in Kosovo," said the author of the book about Fadil Vokrri.
To finalize the book dedicated to the Vokrri legend, Aliu says he worked for almost four years.
"I worked for about three or four years to finalize the book, which today readers can have in their hands. Why they should have it and read it is because here he writes about his entire career. First he writes about his biography, since he comes from the city of Podujeva and his journey in the clubs where he was the best".

He was the only Albanian from Kosovo to play for Yugoslavia, scoring six goals in 12 games. He was also successful as the head of the FFK. He led it to its most glorious period, that of admission to UEFA and FIFA.

Bekim Aliu emphasizes that there is much to say and write about the figure of Vokrri. He chose that the book dedicated to Fadil Vokrri has nine chapters, symbolic of the number that Vokrri wore on his shirt as a football player.
Ali distinguishes two chapters. The one about the reception that was given to Vokrri in Vlora in the match where Partizan of Belgrade faced Flamurtar.
"When Fadili went to Vlora, he was welcomed by more than two thousand Albanian spectators. Even at that time, football fans had heard that he is a great player, who, although he wore a different shirt, was still Fadili, that Albanian who won many football fans in Albania."

"I have contacted many different personalities, among whom I single out the former coach of Vokr, Guus Hiddink, who describes Fadili as a tiger, in the sense that Fadili was the footballer, the striker he was looking for".
He also shows the greatness that Fadili had.
"Fadili, apart from being great as a football player and great as the leader of the Federation, he was also characterized by simplicity. Being simple you will be appreciated by everyone. Fadili will always be remembered and it is unlikely that Kosovo will have another Fadil in the future".

The author said that Vokrri would not be satisfied with the work being done and the results of the Representative.
"It was not difficult for Fadil to choose good words, because he was like that. He has made an extraordinary contribution. To describe Fadil as a football player and personality, one should browse where the best words are and dedicate them to him", said Bekim Aliu, who chose to talk about the book near the stadium of the city of Pristina, which bears the great name.
