Manchester City legend Yaya Toure has been appointed coach of Slovakian club Slovan Bratislava.
Toure has signed a contract with Slovan Bratislava until the summer of 2029.
The 43-year-old from Ivory Coast was an assistant coach at Saudi Arabia from November 2023 to October 2024.
Toure has also worked as an assistant coach at teams such as Standard Liege, Akhmat Grozny and Olimpik Donetsk.
"I am very happy and excited; honestly, I can't wait to work together. I love challenges and I am extremely excited to coach a great club with a rich history, a beautiful stadium and high ambitions. With Slovan, I want to play dominant football, win matches and control the games in order to please our fans. I am looking forward to getting to know the players personally," Toure told the official Slovan Bratislava website.
