Israel has closed the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with a comprehensive 4:1 victory over Moldova.
But this victory, scored on Sunday night in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, has not changed the Group I table.
Israel remains in third place with 12 points, six less than Italy, who will play in the playoffs.
It has left behind Estonia with four points and Moldova with one point.
Norway won Group I with 24 points.
