Inter have said on Thursday that Piotr Zielinski has injured his right thigh and that his condition will be monitored in the coming days.
The Nerazzurri midfielder suffered a muscle injury while representing Poland in the League of Nations on Tuesday night, in the match against Croatia.
"Sky Sport Italia" has written that he will be absent against Roma in the derby that takes place at the "Stadio Olimpico".
However, Inter hope that the Pole will be ready to play in the duels against Young Boys in the Champions League next week, and against Juventus on October 27.
Zielinski joined Inter on a free transfer from Napoli last summer, with a contract until 2028.

Zielinski has also played for Empoli and Udinese.
He has been playing in Italy since 2012, while he has scored 49 goals and 42 assists in 367 appearances in Serie A.
