Alessandro Bastoni opened the scoring. He scored the first goal in the 18th minute, while Marcus Thuram then scored the goal for 2:0 in the 36th minute. In the 52nd minute, Lautaro Martinez scored for 3:0, while ten minutes later Thuram scored his second personal goal for the score 4:0. In the 72nd minute, the goal that sealed the deep victory for Inter was scored by Ange-Yoan Bonny.
On August 31, Inter plays at home again. They host Udinese.
