Fourth defeat in a row for Manchester City

Manchester City has also suffered its fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions. 

After defeats by Tottenham in the EFL Cup, Bournemouth in the Premier League and Sporting in the Champions League, Pep Guardiola's team was defeated by Brighton on Saturday, 2:1. 

It was a match of the 11th round. 

It is the first time that City have lost four games in a row in all competitions under Pep Guardiola as manager. 

Erling Haaland put City ahead in the 23rd minute. Haaland now has 75 goals in 77 appearances in the English elite. 

But Brighton came back into the game late on with two goals to earn the full points. 

Joao Pedro scored in the 78th minute, while Matt O'Riley scored in the 83rd minute. 

Brajan Gruda played from the 66th minute for Brighton. 

City remains in second position with 23 points, while Brighton has 19 points.
