Real Madrid defender Dean Huijsen has been withdrawn from Spain's World Cup qualifying squad due to a muscle injury.
He will be replaced by Athletic Bilbao's Aymeric Laporte, the Spanish Football Federation announced on Wednesday.
Huijsen, according to the Spanish Federation, has muscle problems in his left leg.
He played the whole game for Real Madrid in their 3-1 win over Villarreal on Saturday.
Coach Luis de la Fuente will be without several players due to injury, including midfielder Rodri and striker Lamine Yamal.
Spain plays Georgia on Saturday and Bulgaria three days later.
