The defender of Kosovo, Florent Hadërgjonaj, has said that the "Dardans" are in the strongest group of qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Kosovo faces Switzerland, Sweden and Slovenia.
Hadërgjonaj grew up in Switzerland and spoke to Blick after the draw.
"We know each other and we are undefeated against Switzerland", said the 30-year-old.
"It is clearly the strongest and most interesting group in these qualifications. Sweden has a lot of quality in attack. Slovenia showed in the European Championship how compact it is as a team. "Slovenia also has good players individually," added Hadërgjonaj.
Hadërgjonaj emphasized that Kosovo aims for victory over Switzerland.
"The stadium in Pristina, the same as in Switzerland, will be full. Obviously, it will be a challenging task for us, but we want to achieve something historic. We think we have a chance to go to the World Cup and we will definitely give everything we have."
