Galatasaray have taken valuable points against Atletico Madrid in the race to advance to the next stage of the Champions League.
On Wednesday night at the Rams Park stadium in Istanbul, the great Turkish team drew with the Spanish team 1:1.
Giuliano Simeone scored for Atletico in the fourth minute, while Marcos Llorentes' own goal in the 20th minute decided the match.
The match was in the seventh round of the Champions League group stage. There is one more round to be played until the end of the regular season.
Galatasaray has 10 points, three less than Atletico Madrid.
