A group of Romanian soldiers, serving within KFOR in Kosovo, visited the Romanian football players at their hotel in Pristina on Thursday night.
Kosovo and Romania face each other tonight.
According to "gsp.ro", the meeting between the players and the soldiers lasted about half an hour. Romania's players have given many autographs and taken pictures. Even the 79-year-old coach Mircea Lucescu was at the meeting. But he left faster.
"It was an emotional meeting and we thank the boys and the coach for finding time for this meeting. We exchanged words, they were very accessible for autographs and photos. I got some signatures on the ball for my son, who is a player at Daco-Getica. I sent him the pictures and I think he won't sleep tonight with joy. We will support them from our base and we will be so loud that it will be heard all the way to the stadium", said Viorel Constancin, one of the Romanian soldiers.
