Former Italy international Fabio Grosso has been appointed as the new coach of Fiorentina.
Grosso has signed a contract with Fiorentina until the summer of 2028. He replaces Paolo Vanoli.
The 48-year-old most recently managed Sassuolo. Grosso managed Sassuolo for two years.

I am truly excited and can't wait to get started," Grosso told Fiorentina's official website.
The Italian has previously coached Lyon, Frosinone, Sion, Brescia, Hellas Verona and Bari.
The 48-year-old won the World Cup as a footballer with Italy in 2006.
