The Football Federation of Kosovo reacted on Tuesday to the violence shown in the match in Deçan. Embarrassing scenes were seen in the match between Deçani and Prizren, which belonged to the Second League.
"The Football Federation of Kosovo strongly reacts and strongly condemns the incident that happened during the match of the second week in the Second League, between KF Deçani and KF Prizreni.
The unsportsmanlike behavior that was first displayed in this meeting by some players of KF Deçani, and then also by a player of the Prizren club (who committed actions that contradict the spirit of sport), are unacceptable and completely contrary to the values of football.
Even more disturbing was the escalation of the situation that followed, where the fight between the football players on the field worsened with the involvement of civilians, who attacked the football players of the Prizren club.
FFK will not tolerate violence in football in any form and demands that all persons involved in this incident be held accountable.
At the same time, the FFK asks its respective commissions to take rigorous measures against all those who have violated the rules of the game and sports ethics, in accordance with the regulations in force.
