Feyenoord is surprising Bayern Munich in the first half of the seventh round match of the Champions League.
Feyenoord at the “De Kuip” stadium in Rotterdam, in front of enthusiastic fans, is winning 2:0. The goal in the 21st minute for the hosts was scored by Santiago Tomas Gimenez.
The Mexican striker was also accurate from the penalty spot for 2:0, in the tenth minute of extra time of the first half.
This match was postponed a few minutes after it started, due to the lighting of numerous fireworks by Feyenoord fans.
Bayern suffers heavy defeat in Holland
Bayern have conceded three goals in a heavy defeat to Feyenoord in the Netherlands.
Wednesday night's match was in the seventh round of the Champions League and ended 3:0 for the home team Feyenoord.
With the victory, Feyenoord moved up to 11th place in the Champions League with 13 points. Bayern has dropped to 15th place with 12 points.
Santiago Gimenez scored twice in the first half. He scored first in the 21st minute and then in the ninth minute of extra time.
At the very end, in the 89th minute, Ayase Ueda scored a goal for the Dutch team, making it 3:0.
