Fenerbahçe's Kerem Akturkoglu was right from the penalty spot in extra time of the Istanbul derby against Besiktas. The penalty was awarded after a VAR review.
Akturkoglu scored in the 100th minute the goal that secured Fenerbahce's 1:0 victory against Besiktas, in the derby match of the 28th round of the Turkish Super League, which took place on Sunday.
In the 64th minute, Kristjan Asllani left the field and was replaced by Milot Rashica. Both Albanian footballers had the opportunity to play for Besiktas in the Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe.
With the win, Fenerbahçe moves just one point closer to Galatasaray in the title race. But leader Galata has a less developed match.
Trabzonspor also has 63 points in third place, while Besiktas remains in fourth position with 52 points.
