Three more VAR errors have been confirmed by the Premier League's Major Match Incidents panel, bringing the total of errors this season to 23, the BBC reported on Friday.
The panel identified three errors involving penalties, two of which should have been awarded for holding the opponent.

Everton, the only team not to have benefited from VAR decisions this season, were denied a penalty against Manchester City.

David Moyes' team were leading 3-2 when Bernardo Silva brought down midfielder Merlin Rohl after a corner kick. The incident was not seen by the referee. The VAR chamber judged that the tackle had occurred before the corner kick was taken.

The panel members judged that the penalty had been awarded. City then equalised at 3:3.

It is the third time that Everton should have won a penalty after a VAR review, but did not get it.

According to the panel, a penalty awarded to Bournemouth in their 3-0 win over Crystal Palace should have been disallowed.

Meanwhile, West Ham were awarded two penalties in their 3-0 defeat by Brantford, although one of the decisions was not deemed to have reached the VAR threshold.
