Denmark missed a penalty in the first half but scored in the second half to win the first leg of their Nations League quarter-final against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.
Cristian Eriksen failed to score from the penalty spot. His shot in the 24th minute was saved by goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund scored the winning goal in the 78th minute.
Ronaldo completed the match.
The second quarterfinal match will be played on March 23.
