Inter star Hakan Calhanoglu hopes that his compatriot Arda Guler will join the Nerazzurri.
Guler's manager recently stated that he had "positive talks" with Inter.
Midfielder Calhanoglu also spoke about Guler immediately after Turkey's 3:1 victory over Hungary, which was important for survival or inclusion in League A of the Nations League.
"Arda Guler is a very important player, a brother I care about a lot. I would like him to come and play with us at Inter. My advice is for him to go where he has more playing minutes because he deserves it," Calhanoglu declared after the match.
Inter are expected to sign another striker in the summer of 2025, to provide support for Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
20-year-old Guler's contract with Real Madrid expires in 2029.
In 30 appearances in all competitions, Guler has scored three goals and contributed five assists.
