Omer Bunjaku has been appointed as the sports director of the Tirana team. He has signed a one-year contract with the Tirana club with the option to extend for another year.
The 34-year-old was most recently the sports director at Kosovo's runner-up, Balkan, from 2023 until June of this year.
"Tirana Football Club introduces the new sports director, Omer Bunjaku. With a long experience in managing clubs abroad, Bunjaku has been part of several important projects in football. He has held leadership roles and is committed to building sports structures that have brought sustainable success both on and off the field. We await him with confidence and welcome him to the white and blue house," Tirana wrote on Monday.
Bunjaku has promised to give his best for the Tirana club.
"With full responsibility, I have accepted the task of leading the sports section of the largest Albanian club, KF Tirana. Thank you to the club's leaders for the trust they have given me. My commitment will be maximum, with the aim of coming out on top at the end of the season, bringing joy and pride to the white and blue fans," Bunjaku said.
He has also been the sports director of the Skopje team for six years.
