The only unbeaten team this season won 2:1 away to Cologne.
Linton Maina scored for the hosts, while Serge Gnabry, Min-Jae Kim and Lennart Karl scored the winning goals for the Bavarians.
Bayern, in first place, has 47 points, 11 more than Dortmund, in second. They have scored 66 goals and conceded only 13.
Cologne remains with 17 points.
