Striker Alexander Sorloth from the next edition will play for Atletico Madrid. On Saturday night, the Spanish club announced that it has reached an agreement for the transfer of the Norwegian from Villarreal. Sorloth has completed his medical tests and will be ready for coach Diego Simeone.
"Our club and Villarreal have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Norwegian striker, who has signed a contract for the next four seasons. The 28-year-old is an attacker with great physical power", announced Atletico Madrid.
At Atletico, Sorloth is seen as the ideal replacement for Alvaro Morata, who has been transferred to Milan. Villarreal earned 32 million euros from the sale of the 28-year-old. Sorloth finished the last season in La Liga as the second best scorer with 34 goals.
