Mateus Fernandes and Jarrod Bowen scored for the hosts, while the visitors won thanks to an own goal from Konstantinos Mavropanos, and two goals from Morgan Rogers in the second half.
Aston Villa strengthens further in third place with 33 points, just three less than leaders Arsenal, and one less than second-place Manchester City.
West Ham remain in 18th position with just 13 points. Sunday's match was in the 16th round of the Premier League.
