Aston Villa advances to semi-finals, eliminates Bologna

Aston Villa have achieved another convincing victory over Bologna and have advanced to the semi-finals of the Europa League. 

Aston Villa won 4-0 at Villa Park on Thursday. Ollie Watkins, Emiliano Buendia and Morgan Rogers scored in the first half. Rogers missed a penalty in the 25th minute. Ezri Konsa scored another goal in the second half to seal the victory.

Villa also won the first match 3:1. 

Villa will face Nottingham Forest in the semi-finals, who eliminated Porto. The first leg in Portugal ended 1-1, while the second leg was won by Nottingham 1-0, with a goal from Morgan Gibbs-White. 
The first match will be played at Nottingham Forest. 

The other semi-final will be between Braga and Freiburg. 

Braga won the second leg 4:2, with the score reversed. Antony and Abde Ezzalzouli scored for the home team, while in Braga's comeback, goals were scored by Pau Victor, Victor Carvalho, Ricardo Horta from the penalty spot and Gorby. 

Freiburg eliminated Celta Vigo 3:1 earlier on Thursday. 

The first and second legs of the semi-finals will be played on April 30 and May 7.
