The fiery classic between Barcelona and Real Madrid, taking place on Sunday at 16:15 PM, could determine the winner of the La Liga championship title.
Barcelona is currently the leader with 79 points. Real Madrid is four points behind in second place. If Real beats Barca then they will be just one point behind.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says victory over Barca is a great opportunity to reduce the points gap. But Ancelotti admits that La Liga is in the Catalan giants' "hands".
"It will be a great opportunity. We will prepare well. The match against Barcelona is almost decisive. If we win we will be only one point behind. The league is still in Barcelona's hands," Ancelotti said, Spanish media reported on Monday.
The royal club has failed to achieve two of its three major goals. It was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and also lost the final of the King's Cup.
Barça can win the treble. Hansi Flick's team won the Copa del Rey, are in the semi-finals of the Champions League and are well on their way to winning the Spanish league title.
There are four more rounds in La Liga.
