Carlo Ancelotti will extend his contract as Brazil's national football coach. The Italian signed a one-year contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation a year ago.
He will lead Brazil to the World Cup, but expects to soon sign a contract valid until 2030.
"We have agreed on everything, we just have to sign. I want to stay," Ancelotti stressed.
"I see a team with great potential for the future. We have excellent young players, a new generation is coming, who are players with a high standard."
The 66-year-old took charge of Brazil after an illustrious career at club level.
