The President of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Agim Ademi, has said that Kosovo's qualification for the 2028 European Championship is "a clear and achievable objective."
Through a long post on the official website of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Ademi presented the achievements of Kosovar football during a decade in UEFA.
Kosovo was admitted to UEFA on May 3, 2016.
"This May, Kosovo marks an unforgettable moment in its history: the 10th anniversary of its membership in UEFA and FIFA. Two dates within the same month, with extraordinary historical weight. A jubilee that constitutes the cornerstone of the modern history of our football and an important chapter in the consolidation of Kosovo's statehood. On May 3, 2016, at the Budapest Congress, an era of isolation ended and the doors of the European family were opened. The long sacrifice turned into pride, while hope took concrete form in the international football arena. Just ten days later, on May 13, 2016, at the FIFA Congress in Mexico City, Kosovo was also accepted into the world football family. At the first congress of the current president Gianni Infantino, Kosovo was officially welcomed, sealing an irreversible historical moment," Ademi wrote.
He considers Kosovo's journey to be extraordinary.

He mentioned Kosovo's promotion to League B of the Nations League and reaching the World Cup qualifying playoffs.
He also mentioned the successes of other representative teams and the successes of Balkan and Drita.
"The journey so far gives us unwavering confidence that qualifying for 'Euro 2028' is now a clear and achievable objective," Agim Ademi wrote.
The tenth anniversary of UEFA membership, according to Ademi, finds the FFK stronger than ever. There are 14,449 registered footballers, of whom 643 are female. There are 1693 coaches and 434 referees.
Ademi has mentioned numerous projects and commitments of the FFK, while also writing about the former presidents of the Federation.
"With gratitude we remember the contribution of the presidents of the FFK: Agim Bytyqi, Rexhep Abdullahu, Sabri Hashani and our immortal legend, Fadil Vokrri, but also all their collaborators over the decades. Deep gratitude for the golden generation, for the generation of sacrifice and for all the generations that did not have the opportunity to showcase their talent in Europe, but who remained an inspiration for today's generations."
