On Saturday afternoon in Cologne, Germany won 3:1 against Hungary. The match was in Group A.

Switzerland coach Murat Yakin surprised by leaving Xherdan Shaqiri on the bench. Even the Albanian star was not activated at all. Ardon Jashari also remained on the bench.

In the first match of Group A, which was also the European opener, Germany won 5:1 against Scotland on Friday night. In four days, Germany play Hungary in Stuttgart, while Scotland and Switzerland meet in Cologne.
