Abazovic is interrogated by the Prosecution for "21 million euros" - there is no criminal procedure
The Special Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro has completed the investigation into the case raised after the claims of the Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, that he was offered 21 million euros in order not to topple the party of President Milo Djukanović from power. As "Vijesti" reports, the Prosecutor's Office has decided that there are no elements to initiate criminal proceedings.
At the end of November, businessman Miodrag Daka Davidović stated that he has information that someone tried to "buy" Abazović by offering him 21 million euros to change sides after the parliamentary elections on August 30. He had said that the leader of the "URA" Movement was approached by a well-known humanitarian.
