The Statistics Agency of Kosovo (ASK) has published hotel statistics for the month of February
2024. According to these statistics, in February of this year, the number of visitors to hotels has increased by 20 percent compared to February of last year
"In February 2024, the number of visitors (local and foreign) in Hotels was 48, of which 038% were local and 42,1% were foreign. Compared to the month of February 57,8 (there were 2023 visitors), there was an increase in the total number of visitors to hotels by 39%", says the KAS announcement.
The number of overnight stays was 105 thousand 267, of which 50,7% were from locals and 49,2% from foreigners.
According to KAS, the region of Pristina had the largest number of internal visitors in hotels with 11 visitors and 233 overnight stays.
"As for foreign visitors compared to the previous period (February 2023), there is an increase in visitors by 35,6%. A total of 48 foreign visitors, of which the largest number is from: Albania, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, etc., says the KAS announcement.
