Remittances from the diaspora during 2024 reached 1 billion and 350 million euros

Over 112 million euros were brought by emigrants to Kosovo in March alone

Based on data published by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS), remittances from the diaspora in Kosovo for 2024 have reached 1 billion 350 million euros.

These data were published in the "Statistical Yearbook" report for 2025, and are based on data from the Central Bank of Kosovo.

According to this report, since 2014, when remittances were 622.3 million euros, they have been continuously increasing. In 2021, they exceeded 1 billion euros for the first time.

On the other hand, according to the same Report, exports of goods in 2024 from Kosovo reached a value of 941.5 million euros, while imports amounted to 6.4 billion euros.

Also, 10 years ago, or in 2014, exports of goods amounted to 324.5 million euros, while imports in that year were 2.5 billion euros.

According to ASK, annual inflation in 2024 was 1.6%, compared to 4.9% in 2023. Meanwhile, in the last 10 years, the highest inflation figure, according to the ASK Report, was in 2022, when it reached 11.6%.

Each year, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) publishes a report known as the "Statistical Yearbook", which provides basic statistical data on Kosovo, such as in the demographic, economic, and agricultural fields.

It includes statistics on population, households, births, deaths, education, culture, health, social welfare, or energy.
