In the amount of 2.5 million euros, three public calls were launched today for the support of micro, small and medium enterprises for the purchase of production and processing machinery by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MINT) as part of the three-year industrial policy plan .
Minister Rozeta Hajdari, in a media conference while announcing the launch of these three calls, emphasized that all this support is aimed at strengthening the economy and developing entrepreneurs who have a lot of potential. "The measures we have developed and the various support instruments for start-up, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as in the specific case today are three grant-schemes that we are launching, are measures within the three-year industrial policy plan, respectively the strategy ambitious for the development of industry and business support with a clear vision that by 2030 our enterprises will be globally integrated and this strategy was approved in June 2023", the minister stated.
Hajdari, while showing the value of this public call, said that it will be open until April 19, for all those who want to apply.
"The value of the 2.5 million euro support that we are launching in three grant-schemes, such as the grant-scheme for the purchase of production and processing machinery, the grant-scheme for product certification and the one for the digitization of businesses, all these calls are today launched by the platform of the Information Society Agency, ASHI, from 13:30 and will be open until April 19, 2024 and the application is made through the e-Kosova platform. Those who are familiar with the system can start with today's application... While from the value of 2.5 million euros, 1.7 will be dedicated to the grant-scheme for the purchase of production and processing machines, 500 thousand euros to the grant-scheme for product certification, as well as 300 thousand euros for the digitization of businesses, where the latter is in cooperation and financing with the project from the support of the Austrian Agency for Development and Cooperation", she emphasized.
Hajdari has warned that by 2030, Kosovo's industry will be transformed into a more globally integrated industry.
"The financial support aims to contribute to the increase of production and processing, the improvement of the trade balance, either through the increase of export, through certification or the increase of the participation of products in the local market, the increase of investments and employment. Grant-schemes for the purchase of production and processing machinery, and for product certification will support businesses from the sectors identified in the industrial policy 2030. The priority sectors with potential are the processing of food products, which are all these sectors that will be supported by these three grants... All this support translates into the strengthening of our economy and the development of our next entrepreneurs who have a lot of potential... By 2030, Kosovo's industry will be transformed into a more globally integrated industry that is able to produce products with high added value and provide decent employment for our citizens, said Hajdari. / CP
