Hajdari: Through the product certification scheme, 6 enterprises benefited

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari held a press conference on the occasion of the signing ceremony of the agreements for the product certification grant scheme and the Digital Empowerment Initiative grant scheme.

Hajdari emphasized that through the product certification scheme, 6 companies have benefited, with which he signed an agreement today. She added that in the second phase they plan to support 20 more enterprises.

Hajdari has stated that within the Digital Empowerment Initiative project, this ministry through the KIESA agency and the cooperation with the Austrian Agency for Development and Cooperation have benefited 33 enterprises for digital services. Derisa emphasized that soon they plan to support 70 more companies.

"Beneficiary businesses in the field of product certification within the seven sectors of the strategy for industrial development and business support aim to contribute to the growth of production and processing, the improvement of the trade balance through higher exports as a greater participation of local products in the domestic market. Through the product certification scheme, 6 companies have benefited with which they will sign agreements today. Until the second phase, which we plan to launch soon, we will support all 20 enterprises. Meanwhile, in the framework of the Digital Empowerment Initiative project, where MINT through the KIESA agency and cooperation with the EINGEF project financed by the Austrian agency for development and cooperation have benefited 8 enterprises for digital services in our country. Soon we plan to support 33 more companies", said Hajdari.

Among other things, Hajdari said that the 2030 industrial policy aims to structurally transform the local industry into a more globally integrated industry, which according to her is able to produce products with high added value and provide decent employment for young people. in our country.
Meanwhile, the deputy ambassador of Austria in Kosovo, Clarissa Castek, said that this signing ceremony symbolizes an advancement in the joint commitment to promote comprehensive economic growth and the digital transformation of the private sector of Kosovo.

She emphasized that for many years, the Republic of Austria, through the Austrian Development Agency, has been a partner of the private sector of Kosovo, devoting itself to strengthening businesses, promoting innovation and creating paths for sustainable growth.
