The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, has said that there is great support for businesses that focus on green production.
According to her, climate changes have a big impact on the manufacturing industry, while innovation in the manufacturing sector is expected to play a big role.
At the International Conference on Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change, with the theme "Innovation for a Sustainable Tomorrow: Academia, Industry and Government in Dialogue", Hajdari said that 33 million euros is the cost for the construction of industrial and technological parks.
"We must join forces through open dialogue through government and academia and the transition to a green economy. One of these policies is the industrial policy with a vision until 2030, prioritizing economic development. As the minister, we have drawn up an ambitious strategy to support businesses, we have prepared a comprehensive plan in nine sectors", said Hajdari.
She has said that objective four addresses the facilitation of the green circular and helps the manufacturing sector in green production.
"Climate changes have a big impact on the manufacturing industry, innovation in the manufacturing sector is expected to play a big role. Innovation has the potential to transform positive results, the creation of a green industry, the Kosovar industry is an important consumer, therefore the improvement of material efficiency. Kosovo is in the initial phase of creating a green circular," Hajdari emphasized.
She said that Kosovar companies recycle plastics, cans, tires, which significantly reduce pollution.
"The commitment of the private sector is an essential step towards the common goal. By working together like this, engagements can be good for the planet and good for business. I am convinced that new ideas and collaborations will emerge that will reach a stable future with 33 million euros of commitments that many industrial and technological parks are being built.
