"It was a great honor because I brought a program that I enjoyed performing, folk songs. 'Beatles Song' (by Berio vj) was for me the first time today, as well as the work of Kushtrim Gashi, a fantastic work. I felt very good, because the atmosphere was very warm also because of the short time we had for rehearsals, because I came here very late from Austria and I believe that we have adapted very well as an ensemble and it was really an honor to be here tonight Goranci said.

Flaka Goranci has completed her studies in solo singing at the Music Academy in Tirana, while her master's studies at the University of Tel-Aviv. Since then, he has performed on important international stages such as "Theater an der Wien", "Musikverein Wien", "Konzerthaus Wien" and has also worked with sound conductors such as Nikolaus Kerssenbrock, Ulrich Windfuhr and others. It received positive international criticism and was nominated in three categories by "Opus Klassik". In the 2023-2024 season, Goranci will start a world tour with "La Femme", a special project of hers, valued by the music world.

After the concert in Pristina, he also mentioned how he came up with the idea of bringing this program to "PriVocalFest".

"With Kushtrimi, we had the idea much earlier to bring folk songs to Kosovo, then along the way, after many years, it actually came to the finalization of the idea, and during that time, Kushtrimi has discovered that they are actually very little performed works. The Beatles arranged in baroque and modern style is a very rare combination, in fact, that's why we decided to have the Beatles", she said.

She described the concert as a kind of debt she has for her country and mentioned the next concerts she will have, two of which are in Albania, where she will also perform at the centenary concert of the conductor and composer. well-known Albanian, Simon Gjoni.

"The last performance was two years ago. I missed it because it's a kind of responsibility, a kind of dedication, when you leave your country it seems like you always have a debt for your country and at least that's how I feel. And every time I come I try to give my best. I also have an opera concert in Vienna, then I have two more concerts that are worth mentioning, in Tirana the concert for the centenary of Simon Gjon, for which I am honored to be a part of this great concert, also on October 31, the program of La Femme, which is also held in Albania with the Orchestra of the Armed Forces", she said.

The artistic director of the festival, Hajrullah Syla, appreciated the cooperation with Goranci, who described it as a magnificent opening of the sixth edition of "PriVocalFest".

"Tonight was a very grand opening on stage with Flaka Goranci and the conductor Kushtrim Gashi and also with the ensemble 'Primormodern' that accompanied him. It was a very interesting program, something that we have not heard before, and that made this concert even more special. The audience was quite large, so the interest was noticed and we hope that it will be like this in the following nights as well", said Syla.

he also mentioned the Friday concert by the Choir and Orchestra of the Kosovo Philharmonic in cooperation with the mixed choir of Thessaloniki, where a very special work by Giaochino Rossini, "Stabat Mater", will be performed.

"It is quite a big concert where we will have a very large number of musicians on stage, it will be the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra that will accompany the Philharmonic Choir and the Thessaloniki mixed choir, who will perform a very important – 'Stabat Mater' by Rossini. It is a very pleasant work and a work which I believe the audience will find even the concert very short, because it is a work which takes you with it and looks like a short performance", he warned.

The nights of vocal music will continue in the following days with a varied program until the end of this edition, in the middle of this month.
