Based on the reduced size of the sources, Topalli has managed to shed light on issues such as: the etymology of many words, the noun and verb system, clarifications about the time of action of phonetic phenomena, has specified and illustrated with examples the phonetic developments of phonemes, etc. On the 85th anniversary of his birth, this text takes a look at his contribution to the verbal system

He was born in Shkodër on December 4, 1938. He died in Tirana on May 24, 2018. He was an Albanian educator, pedagogue and linguist.
