One person was injured in the "Via Ferrata" in Peja

One person was rescued in a rescue operation on the "Via Ferrata" in Pejë, where he got stuck in the third kilometer.

Police spokesman, Fadil Gashi, told KOHEN that he managed to be saved around 15:30 p.m.

The victim is being treated at the Peja Regional Hospital, while it is not known if the injuries were serious.

"Around 15:30 p.m., the police were notified that on the Via Ferrata, at the 3rd km, a person remained there and is the subject. The police and firefighters have arrived at the scene. The injuries are not yet known, he is being treated at the Regional Hospital of Peja", he said.

The Mountain Search and Rescue Service of Kosovo has also announced the rescue operation.

"We have just received a call for help on one of the Via Ferrata in Peja. Our rescuers, together with the firemen, have located the accident victim and are conducting the Search and Rescue operation", it is stated in their announcement.
